Mavo Muurhuizen

Our school is a transparent and safe school, where pupils feel at home from the get-go. We place trust in our pupils and, to ensure they get the best support possible, we implemented the ground breaking “i-uur system”.

Our i-uur system gives pupils the chance to approach teachers for additional exercises, extra information and individual explanation of the subject they struggle most with. We allow our pupils to resit all of their tests, because we believe learning from mistakes is invaluable, especially if you can demonstrate how much you have improved.

Not only do we encourage our pupils to improve, but we offer them the chance to show off as well by taking an extra course. Theory isn’t everything, which is why we also offer exams in sports, music and arts. We work together to figure out how to best prepare for exams and a future in this tumultuous society.
